History

With the selection of Canberra as Australia’s capital came multiple calls to host an university in the region, these plans had to be postponed as the result of World War II, but thanks to the efforts of the Department of Post-War Reconstruction, a new Australian University Act saw the light in 1946, which through the merger of various institutions finally resulted in the creation of the Australian national University.

Now in the present day, Australia National University is considered to be one the most important research universities, and is famous for it’s arts and social sciences courses.

Admission requirements
