McGill University

History

Originally known as the Royal Institution for the Advancement of Learning, the college was created in 1801 with the authorization to operate two Royal Schools. It’s change to the name of McGill University was done in honor of James McGill, who through his will granted McGill University the estate it used for it’s current campus.

Admission requirements
