History

Originally founded in 1817 as the University of Michigania, the institution saw a lot of changes across it’s early years, to the point of completely relocating from Detroit to Ann Arbor, and it wouldn’t be until 1845 that it would see it’s first graduation ceremony.

Since then the University of Michigan has expanded to the point of becoming one of the best universities in the USA, and has also been long known for it’s long history of student activism.

Admission requirements

Application into the University of Washington is partially handled through Coalition for College, a. After filling all the profile information and adding the University of Washington to the list, residents will be asked for a fee waiver, in the case of the University of Michigan this application fee will amount to $75.

Additionally to the Coalition application, prospective students must also present to the university a High school transcript, School Report, One Teacher Evaluation, and SAT or ACT score

Student Life

Though it’s Student Life Office, the University of Michigan offers a lot of services to let any student find their own place in campus, enrolled students can get involved in organizations, find campus jobs, get involved with internships and find a role that suits them best across the wide selection offered at the university.

Part-time work

The University of Michigan has a dedicated Student Employment Office portal, from which students can browse a wide selection of job listings and apply to them at any time.

Interestingly while application is logically limited to students, browsing the site is not, and as such interested prospective students can check the work possibilities before applying to their desired course.

Fees

On average Michigan Residents applying for an undergraduate course can expect to pay $8,000 on Tuition Fees per Term on the University of Michigan, while for non Michigan Residents the cost will be closer to $25,000 per term.
