History
The University of Freiburg was founded in 1457, a project from the Habsburg Dynasty which saw direct inspiration from the University of Vienna. This makes it one of the five oldest universities in Germany, with a famed and long tradition in the area of humanities. Admission requirements
Selection on Freiburg University is based on both a student’s academic achievements and their motivation for studying in the institution. Fees
The fee for bachelors is approximately 3,000 EUR per semester; additionally international students will need to pay an extra 1,500 EUR fee on top of their semester expenses.
