History
The University of Sussex was originally established in the year 1961, however talks of it started all the way back in 1911, when the need to establish an university in the region of Sussex was discussed at length, various factors including World War I played a role in postponing the talk and it wouldn’t be until the 50s that the idea would be brought into the forefront again, ultimately the newly planned university was granted Royal Charter in 1961, and was properly established the same year, becoming the first new university in the UK since WWII.
From it’s beginning the school presented itself as a cross-disciplinary institution, ad as such built it’s campus fro day one to facilitate the integration of many areas of studies, the modern campus was widely praised and became a sign of things to come as the idea of Sussex would resonate with many important figures in the years to come and the community as a whole has been long involved with social movements and the advancement of the sciences.

Admission requirements
The University of Sussex accepts most international qualifications when it comes to application, but the main one is A-levels, out of which the institution expected three A-level grades for application, nonetheless admission has more nuances than simple grades and the institution is willing to help students who need a push in their grades.

On average Tuition Fees at the University of Sussex are set at £9,250 per year for EU students ant £18,500 for International students, it’s important to note however that while Tuition can’t get higher for EU students due to the law, some courses for international students do see an increase in costs.
